Loopwheels are more comfortable than standard wheelchair wheels: they absorb tiring vibration, as well as bumps and shocks. They’re strong and durable. Loopwheels are optimised for adults. If you weigh less than 50kg, you may not feel as much benefit from the loopwheels suspension as some one heavier.
Is there something I'm not getting? Is there a way to just slap a wheel on a block and have it roll, or are suspension blocks the only way? Without suspension blocks, wheels on a grid don't even show up in said grid's control panel or hotbar assignment menu. I even made a few test girds that were just carts with wheels directly on blocks, with thrusters for motive power; The wheels wouldn't even spin.
As a full time wheelchair user, I cast a very skeptical eye at said "annoyingly infomercial-style video". About the only places I have trouble are in soft gravel, sandy beaches, and deep snow. Certainly not gentle curbs and flat lawns.

From a purely aesthetic standpoint, it gives the Taurus — a car once relegated to rental fleets around the country — a much bolder, more aggressive appearance, with wheel arches full of rubber and chromed alloy. unlike other bikes I purchased, I did not have to make any tuning/adjustments for the deralleurs - hope this won't jinx it. The bike arrived very fast and only a little assembly to do and very easy. The gears change very smoothly. It's a little heavy but I'm very satisfied !!! Had bike for just over a month and gears don’t work proper and back wheel frame is bent and has a wobble. Thought getting a more expensive bike would be more durable but I was wrong. My 200 dollar Canadian Tire bike was better. The tires are missing some ball bearing and trying to put the tire on only results in a wobbly tire. Off to buy some ball bearings now... Grumble.
The wheelchair application seems to run straight into the eternal problem with sprung wheels. Without dampers, they bounce badly, as sometimes seen in tractors fitted with buckets on a bad road. With dampers, they have very high rolling resistance. I tire needs enough flex to meet the ground, but any further suspension should be on the axle. Lardo January 30, 2018 06:00 PM
