This spring system between the hub and the rim of the wheel provides suspension that constantly adjusts to uneven terrain – cushioning the rider from bumps and potholes in the road. In effect, the hub floats within the rim, adjusting constantly as shocks from an uneven road hit the rim of the wheel.

Might try the rotor idea. Would need to make the drive rotors on either side of each gantry arm on a group and set up some hotbar options for control, but it should work. Yeah, you're right in that I should have said 'sufficiently rigid' as if you set it too stiffly it will explode. Wheel suspensions are pretty stable. As mentioned above, cranking up the stiffness and forcing 1-2 wheels to do all the stabilizing... can lead to boom. If you spread out the load over more suspensions, there's less load on any given area, on both grids, which can lead to you being happier all around. (Repairs are a *CENSORED* on some of those moving devices)
Loopwheels use an off-the-shelf bicycle wheel but removes the spokes in place of a spring system between the hub and the rim for integral suspension. That suspension is made up of three carbon composite springs that act as shock absorbers with 45mm of travel, cushioning the rider for a smooth and comfortable ride. Unlike standard bike suspension systems, it provides tangential suspension, allowing your ride to absorb shocks from all directions — even from the front and rear.

unlike other bikes I purchased, I did not have to make any tuning/adjustments for the deralleurs - hope this won't jinx it. The bike arrived very fast and only a little assembly to do and very easy. The gears change very smoothly. It's a little heavy but I'm very satisfied !!! Had bike for just over a month and gears don’t work proper and back wheel frame is bent and has a wobble. Thought getting a more expensive bike would be more durable but I was wrong. My 200 dollar Canadian Tire bike was better. The tires are missing some ball bearing and trying to put the tire on only results in a wobbly tire. Off to buy some ball bearings now... Grumble. Hand Rim

I got it last summer because it has fall detection. I also like that I can still make calls and texts if my phone isn’t physically on me. Nope! Basically, the steering system allows the driver to guide the vehicle. The steering wheel is connected, via the steering column and a series of pivoted joints, to the suspension system. This allows the wheels to move up and down as required by the road surface without changing the steering angle. This system also ensures that the wheels turn as required, for example the inner front wheel (which has a tighter curve than the outer one) is more sharply angled when cornering. Like the suspension system, the steering system also requires precise adjustment, as any looseness in the joints can make the steering dangerous.
