This active suspension preserves more of the forward motion energy that would normally be lost as the suspension allows the wheelchair to bob and sag. If you want the most functionality and lowest possible clearance, check out an air ride kit. This is one of the most sought after modifications in the lowered car community. Air suspension systems allow you to dial in your fitment perfectly and raise or lower the car from the push of a button. Air suspension kits use air pressure to adjust the height of your car on command. Speed bumps are no longer a problem!

Good Shocks and struts keep applied downward pressure to keep the tire in firm constant contact with the road at all times. They can: contribute to a smoother driving experience, help decrease drive and squat during hard braking situations, and reduce the force of forward gravity when braking under a panicked situation (helps avoid accidents!).
Final pricing hasn’t been set, but it looks like the standard wheelset should run about $2000 when they are available sometime later this year. In each of the wheels they use tech called Adaptive Rigidity that seems to be an optimized suspension tune geared to “absorb the bumps that matter and stay rigid over the ones that don’t”.
