I was happy with my purchase until this point. The bike looks nice and handled great. The only issue I noticed before this was that the left gear (I’m no bike expert, sorry if if that’s not the correct term) sort of made a weird noise when switching between one of the three settings (the chain sort of took a while to set correctly). The right gear worked flawlessly.

Lower Back Pain And Body Shaking

Much like their wheelchair design has made it easier and more comfortable for users to get around in an urban environment, SoftWheel hopes the Fluent wheel can do the same thing for cyclists. The way they describe how the wheel absorbs shocks claims that they are especially effective at abrupt sharp edge obstacles like riding up and down stairs. Since the rim can variably move in the direction of each impact (as opposed to a typical fork which can only telescope up and down, or a rear suspension setup which is confined to the axle path determined by its layout), it is better suited to the wide range of actual impacts your normally encounter.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works on Gotrax GXL specs are similar practically the same Works as advertised I have the gotrax as well and it fits just fine I didn't wanna work on my brakes seeing as I have front brakes already plus it's a pain with the stock clipper they give you so I'm getting another clipper beats putting on that rubber tire yourself good luck (Edit Review) Tire holds up well in dry areas I recommend that you do not ride on any wet surfaces the tire will slide and could risk a fall I use this tire as a back up the pneumatic tires are better more smooth on surfaces and the battery as well Part of the tire description says "Shock-Absorbing". That is simply not true. This solid tire rides very much rougher than my pneumatic tire and tube did. I do not understand the "Rate Features", which are Thickness, Warmth and Sheerness. ?? Those features look like they are for bed sheets. You will spend hours trying to get the break pads not to rub. Then you will go to a bike store that will say it’s the wrong size disc for the break. If you are buying this for a xiao mi scooter. DO NOT BUY. They advertise it but you have to remove your original disc pad to use. 1.0 out of 5 stars Not what they clam By Chef boyardee on September 26, 2020 You will spend hours trying to get the break pads not to rub. Then you will go to a bike store that will say it’s the wrong size disc for the break. If you are buying this for a xiao mi scooter. DO NOT BUY. They advertise it but you have to remove your original disc pad to use. The wheel seems to be high quality. Unfortunately I didn't manage to plug it into my Xiaomi Mijia scooter. The wheel's axle seems to be a tiny bit too long to slide in position... It may be the case that with a lot of force it fits - however, I didn't attempt to apply excessive force because the original scooter wheel fits in effortlessly. Just put the tire on my sons Xiaomi M365. Fit perfectly. I tried replacing the inner tube a few times and each time the tube got a hole in it. Save yourself the trouble and buy the solid tire with the rim. Also, tire came mounted in the correct direction.

There are a lot of good points that have been made in this thread. I think a big factor in your decision will be really the road conditions in your area. Lots of changes in slopes that cause you to bottom out would not be a good thing for a lowered vehicle. The cars I have seen here look quite good, mostly because they have either 19s or dubs on them. I'm having such a tough decision on whether or not I want to get a ZR or G coupe. Keep the pics coming...maybe it'll help persuade me one way or another.

I suppose that there may be some readers who have not yet heard about this trike. If you haven’t – it was featured on a recent Laidback Bike Report (laidbackbikereport.com), so you might want to check that out – after you read this, of course! But seriously, getting a chance to see that trike in action, whether in-person or via that LBR, is a good idea. When you do, perhaps the first thing you notice is what I mention in the title – this trike leans! Read More »

Swing axles may be at the front or rear. The system is like a beam axle cut in half and attached to pivots on the frame.

As a comparison, consider the 1995 Corvette ZR-1, an ultra-high performance, 405 horsepower Corvette of which 527 units were sold. It came equipped with 17-inch wheels and tires. The front tires were 275/45R17s, meaning they were three-quarters of an inch thicker, had the same height sidewall, but were smaller than the Taurus by two inches in diameter.

For me, base on this design, as long as you can maintain the hub to be: ground to hub distance would always be greater than the hub to the horizontal distance (radius) to the rim. then you should be fine.
