Talking with Sam and Gemma it is clear that Loopwheels wont be stopping with just this one product, hints are dropped and you can see ideas formulating in their heads as they talk with you.
Gary: I agree in principal - and I believe, as usual that forum members are all trying to say the same thing. Which is that 1) when we know our equipment and 2) the circumstance is favorable then there should be no problems. However, OP, an admitted newbie, did not tell us the year and model of his Thor (I may have missed it), nor the type of jack nor the degree of slope he could be considering - so, to err on the side of safety when advising someone that is NOT familiar with his equipment I think our answer should be a conservative and collective NO - don't go off the ground for the drive axle (brakes). As always, disagree or agree the forum group is constantly trying to help others to stay safe and enjoy this wonderful way of life (for some) and pastime (for others). The shocks will limit how much the front air bags can extend, whether or not it damages the front shocks is a different topic. As a general rule MH's with solid front axles state in the owners manual NOT to lift front wheels off the ground. I've never read of IFS MH's having such a statement. 2000 Winnebago Ultimate Freedom USQ40JD, ISC 8.3 Cummins 350, Spartan MM Chassis. USA IN 1SG 11B5MX,Infantry retired;Good Sam Life member,FMCA." Am I missing something here? That seems like a pretty big failing, as there are plenty of reasons to need wheels in a fixed position.

From an aesthetics point of view they are gorgeous to look at, but from riding them it is obvious that Sam and Gemma have created something special. Riding 20″ slicks is not normally the most fun way to enjoy the farm tracks of the UK, but with the Loopwheels it suddenly changed, the rough buzz disappeared and you find yourself enjoying the ride rather than worrying about your wheels and the bike bouncing everywhere!

The three loops in each wheel work together as a self-correcting system. This spring system between the hub and the rim of the wheel provides suspension that constantly adjusts to uneven terrain – cushioning the rider from bumps and potholes in the road. In effect, the hub floats within the rim, adjusting constantly as shocks from an uneven road hit the rim of the wheel.

Among the very few prominent recumbent groups around the world precious few can boast of the long history of racing and designing bents as can the British Human Power Club. We’ll chat with club officers Alan Goodman, Barney Harle and Chris Hamilton about their full racing seasons (including the World HPV Championships), member’s unusual HPV builds and the early group history with founding member Dave Larrington. Also Dave Ashenbrener returns with an update on his “Lost Recumbent” AR-3 tilting trike which he has now produced and is available to purchase. Honza, Doug and Nina are back with their segments as well. Midwest Trike Demo Sale – February 27! Posted on February 26, 2021 by Larry Varney

However, the upsides are obvious to car enthusiasts. Our e-tron has evolved from subtle family hauler to garnering comments most anywhere we go. We even managed to take it to Audi Club Nationals 2019 (see: p.34 Q1_2020) where the net response from enthusiasts with gas-powered cars was universally positive. Not surprisingly, a low-slung aggressive-looking longroof is a hit amongst Audi brand aficionados no matter their preferred method of propulsion. So, how did it turn out? Did I like the trike? What are the good points and bad? Before we get into that, I’m sure that there are many who want to see the specifications, and not have to read through to the end for that. So, here goes: Amazing New Bent Builds on Laidback Bike Report! Posted on June 5, 2021 by Larry Varney Today (Sunday, June 6th, at 2 PM EST), we literally get into the weeds with our Italian bent builder Marco Ruga. He has created an amazing off road long wheel base recumbent and will show us how he did it and where he rides it. Then Englishman Alex du Pre (who is a naval engineer) reveals his first recumbent design. A tilting trike/velomobile made initially out of wood. Doug is back with another gonzo bent road fix and we have two new Review Team segments: Joseph Janning from Germany talks about velomobile wheels and Mickey O;Brien from Laid Back Cycles in California reviews the ICE Adventure trike. Denny will cap it all off with the latest in sports and Honza has our recumbent news of the month. The wheel fits to any bike with minor alterations. The added wheel suspension works with traditional fork suspension. Baigh explains his design in the video below. The LoopWheel is another design that features bow-spokes, only these are in elliptical shapes. The carbon composite springs isolate the rider from the high-frequency road noise preventing aches caused by jolting.
