Big wheels and low profile tires make any vehicle look tough. For years, the aftermarket has provided wheels in the most gargantuan sizes possible, wrapping them in tires with sidewalls as thin as an o-ring. As beltlines rise, greenhouses shrink, and wheel arches become more pronounced, manufacturers are routinely shoeing their cars — even relatively sedate family sedans — with wheels 19 and even 20 inches in diameter. They look great, but their durability and expense is questionable, at best. Not long ago — well into the 2000s — most daily driver sedans came with something along the lines of a 205/60R15 tire (See this diagram to explain the numbers). Tires in these sizes typically offer a good compromise between road-holding and ride, providing a nice, fat contact patch with the road, yet allowing some flexibility in the sidewall to soak up pavement irregularities.

Like many Audi models before it, the e-tron is fitted with a height adjustable air suspension. For those seeking to lower the car, this amounts largely to a software change. In most cases of an air suspended Audi, the aftermarket usually provides “piggyback” modules that adjust the suspension downward. Given the relative newness and untraditional nature of the e-tron, we weren’t aware of any options yet to be had.
How is that ? Do the jacks being driven into the ground by the weight of the chassis slide ? Does your table, grill, chairs, slide down the site ? Do you have brakes in them ? I did rear brake jobs on large trucks, when I jacked them up, they stayed right where I parked them.

Anyway, I originally ordered two solid honeycomb-types tires, assuming the claims of then being nearly impossible to mount were wildly overblown... of course, I was unable to mount the rear (I didn’t even attempt the front). This is a perfect replacement and the included rotor and rim appear identical to OEM.
agreed..but if money is an issue, I'd grab the $100 set of springs first then get the wheels. from experience in my trans am, springs/shocks/struts/whatever made a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference. I put vette wheels on and I just got wider tires which was sweet but i noticed a BIGGER difference from springs/shocks Well, my budget only allows for one at a time, and i'm just worried if I get springs ill have to just take guesses on wheel/tire sizes. Just purchased a 2nd Traxion for my wife; after she borrowed mine she had to have one. This one arrived in perfect condition via UPS. Had to fine tune the brakes and shifters but that is easy. The people here having pedal/crank problems are causing the problem themselves by installing them dry and severly over tightening them. Put a little grease on the threads and take them down to just beyond finger tight. They are threaded opposite of the crank rotation and will not back out, and if you ever need to replace them they'll come out easily without seizing or galling. Great bike for the money!
