It’s important to note, that the axle is slightly wider than the tail of the frame. I widened the opening by grinding down just enough metal at the tail work a rotary tool to gain clearance. After that, it took no time to install. As an aside, this presents a perfect opportunity to change your brake pads as well. I was extremely hesitant to buy one of these wheel assembly kits. Many had reviews of non-spinning wheels or other horror stories, but this one did not. I took the jump, and it has worked out perfectly. No more back flats to worry about, and no loss to top speed! The ride is a little bumpier, but i only noticed the first ride or two. Slight decrease to total range as well, but that’ll happen. It fit my M365 perfectly, just had to adjust the brakes to fit this setup. I can not recommend this enough as a quick solution to eliminate flat tires as an issue. I am beyond pleased with my purchase

The “Triple Absorber” aims to lessen the stress placed on MTB riders. Normal wheels pass bumps through into the frame (and rider), causing fatigue.
Are there drawbacks? Yes. In the lowest suspension settings, mainly efficiency and dynamic, the ride is bouncy. On a very smooth highway, these lower settings handle very well. However, on more imperfect pavement, you’ll want to move to a higher setting. We find ourselves using comfort the most. To our eye, it’s just below the factory-height dynamic setting, low and sporting but with much less pronounced rebound.
Design concern: Compressing the suspension changes the center of the wheel. When the wheel is also rolling this means there needs to be a ‘handoff’ between the three struts. From an aesthetics point of view they are gorgeous to look at, but from riding them it is obvious that Sam and Gemma have created something special. Riding 20″ slicks is not normally the most fun way to enjoy the farm tracks of the UK, but with the Loopwheels it suddenly changed, the rough buzz disappeared and you find yourself enjoying the ride rather than worrying about your wheels and the bike bouncing everywhere!
According to Pearce, one of the advantages of Loopwheels is the fact that unlike a suspension fork, they can absorb shocks delivered not just from underneath or above but also from the front (as might happen when running into a curb head-on). He also admits that many other inventors have come up with designs for wheels with tangential suspension over the past hundred years or so, although he believes that today’s modern materials will allow his to work where others have proved impractical.
I suppose that there may be some readers who have not yet heard about this trike. I might eventually drop it. You have remember though, the roadsters sit atleast a half inch lower than the coupes to begin with (stock). Here's mine on 19's. I'll probably cut down the spring seats to level it up a bit in the rear. Use a slightly taller tire. That helps alot. Mine are 275/35/19 and 285/35/19 and I love the way it looks on the stock suspension. I think Htech will be the perfect drop for me, LOL Even with 35 sidewall tires, the gap in stock suspension is horrible. There are a lot of good points that have been made in this thread. I think a big factor in your decision will be really the road conditions in your area. Lots of changes in slopes that cause you to bottom out would not be a good thing for a lowered vehicle. The cars I have seen here look quite good, mostly because they have either 19s or dubs on them.

Here are a couple of pics of my 2009 G37S with stock suspension and 20" wheels. I would love to lower the front some but I am fine with the back and I don't want to get into all the other issues that come up with lowering a car (rubbing, alignment issues, etc etc).
This looks dodgy. As per above – lateral stiffness? You have what looks like three contact points spot welded to the rim. I like my rims to stay somewhat connected to the hubs. These look like they have potential for rather catastrophic failure. Bob McNaughton on April 14th, 2013 - 11:06pm

Much like their wheelchair design has made it easier and more comfortable for users to get around in an urban environment, SoftWheel hopes the Fluent wheel can do the same thing for cyclists. The way they describe how the wheel absorbs shocks claims that they are especially effective at abrupt sharp edge obstacles like riding up and down stairs. Since the rim can variably move in the direction of each impact (as opposed to a typical fork which can only telescope up and down, or a rear suspension setup which is confined to the axle path determined by its layout), it is better suited to the wide range of actual impacts your normally encounter.
