The fact that each shock is individually adjusted and tuned makes me wonder how difficult it would be to get them synced and the negative effects of them being out of whack with one another. Colin M on May 20th, 2016 - 10:53am nightfend on May 20th, 2016 - 10:59am .

Seems like a lot of the aftermarket wheels are on lowered Supras, anybody here running aftermarket wheels with stock suspension? Unfortunately with my driveway and roads, lowering may not be an option due to the possibility of scraping. I feel others may be in the same boat so this may be a helpful thread. Please share photos and specs of your aftermarket wheels/tires with stock suspension! I had to run a 12mm spacer in front to clear the caliper (which i thought it was going to clear, but sadly was wong) which made my rear fitment a bit weak compared to the front. so i had to compensate with a little 5mm spacer on the rear (still not sure whether to run a 5mm or 10mm spacer on the rear, i feel like 10mm would be really pushing it and will rub badly.) Or were you going for a poke look? Or were you going for a poke look? i was going for a more "flush" look and its the only offset they offered. I thought i was going to clear upfront, and worried more with the rear. but it turned out the other way around.. and since the front poked out, i was trying to compensate on the rears. but i dont mind "a little" poke just not too much. oh well at least it looks decent

As a comparison, consider the 1995 Corvette ZR-1, an ultra-high performance, 405 horsepower Corvette of which 527 units were sold. It came equipped with 17-inch wheels and tires. The front tires were 275/45R17s, meaning they were three-quarters of an inch thicker, had the same height sidewall, but were smaller than the Taurus by two inches in diameter.

Now consider the car that it replaces. The first-generation 2009 Chrysler 300C AWD was equipped with 18-inch wheels at the largest. A set of four 225/60R18 Continental ContiProContact ContiSeal tires is available from TireRack.com for $596, not including mount, balance, disposal, or alignment at your local retailer.
Our Loopwheels for wheelchairs help you push over uneven streets, rough tracks and gravel paths more easily, and the carbon springs can give you extra power to get up or down kerbs. They reduce jolting and vibration, by as much as two thirds compared with a spoked wheel. Some customers tell us this helps them manage discomfort.

We’re proud to be a British manufacturer of a world-class innovation in wheel technology.

"My mobility has been hugely limited due to pain, and when I’m outdoors I’m reliant on my wheelchair. Potholes, cracks, cobbles: when you have chronic pain, you feel every tiny vibration like a knife. The Loopwheels took only a few seconds to fit and I immediately noticed a big difference. Loopwheels definitely reduce the pain of going over bumps, kerbs and cobbles . . . the addition of Loopwheels to my chair has made every trip out far more comfortable." The Acrobat doesn't exactly "reinvent the wheel," as the cliche goes, but it does improve upon it. Eliane Rozanes, one of the Acrobat’s engineers, said it has a built-in symmetrical and selective suspension system. In layman's terms, that means it takes the bumps so you don't have to.

buddy thanks a million, i think u just answered my question, i have the same width rims and tires. i was wondering how much room i might have in order to figure the suspension.

As far as treads go, the sky's the limit. Treads bolt directly onto the outer rim piece by piece, and there are a bunch of options to choose from, including a range of pre-molded road retread options by companies such as Michelin that bolt on in sections, or a plethora of heavy-duty industrial options that use polyurethane, urethane or steel pieces in a range of different configurations for serious off-road grab.

Bikes, both manual and electric, are another big market for SoftWheel, which employs six people and is located in the Haifa area. “With cities around the world implementing biking programs for commuter, there is a big market for more comfortable rides,” said Barel. “Our wheels can easily replace the standard ones used for bikes, and make bike commuting much more comfortable.”
