Thanks for sharing, I have already made a list of things I want to do with my car, granted not an interior list nor a 100% complete list, but as far as budget and small things (considering its just gonna be a mild modded DD) as the thread you linked calls it but I still got something out of it. Thanks again. Eventually i'm going to do a B-Swap but suspension work is a no brainer to get out of the way, atleast in my opinion OK..........so why are you asking us what should you do first if its a no brainer to you? Civics of your vintage need to be lowered about 2.5-3" with stock sized tires before you remove all wheel gap. This is too low for stock length shocks. A good riding spring lowers the car about 1-2" maximum. Some suggestions would be eibach pro kits, h&r sports, or Tein S techs with koni STRT shocks. They'll work fine with 15x7 +40 or so. I'd use 205/50/15's. But you can also use the stock 195/55/15. If you buy the wheels/tires first, the car will look funny until you lower it.
@ Reason: We will update the pricing which we took from a catalog in 2009. The price advantage is still significant, if it was only because of changing over a consumable into a capital asset that can be amortized. Besides, only the treads need to be replaced at a fraction of the cost of a rubber tire. Investment, yes, value for money, certainly.

The most loop-the-loops in a Hot Wheels track is 10 and was achieved by Rohan Dayal and Rahul Dayal (both India) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, on 7 April 2021. It took Rohan and Rahul three days to build the adjustable angle wooden platform and assemble the entire track of 10 loops over it. Two people were involved in the project. Rohan Dayal and his younger brother Rahul Dayal. "Testing was initially with few loops and as we increased the loops and the length of the track, the project became challenging. Since the track became long it needed to be supported on a firmer wooden platform. The longer the platform, the greater was the weight and bending in the center. This needed strengthening of the platform. This was the initial challenge." While testing the brothers found that the journey of the car through the loops depended greatly on the angle of the platform. To facilitate variable angles they had to construct an adjustable wooden leg support. By adjusting the leg support during testing they arrived at the best angle which gave them the breakthrough that they could achieve the target. The project cost approximately INR 3500 ( approximately £35). The cost was less as the brothers already had collections of Hot Wheels cars and track and only had to purchase the remaining missing track pieces. The plywood used for the platform was upcycled from scrap. There were a numbe rof challenges faced by the pair. As the number of loops increase, the project became challenging in terms of scale. The length of the platform, it's weight, and height also presented difficulties in handling. The speed of the Hot Wheels car increases as it descends from greater heights causing the car to lose balance. Despite all these difficulties the pair think they could attempt to increase the loops by a further one or two in the future. "Since a young age of around 12 years, I would try to do small projects like making a wooden toy car or cricket bat. Later as I grew I would do some small household repair works. For all this, I would use my Dad’s tools. As a child, I liked playing with toy cars. I would make my wooden toy car and make it slide on sloping surfaces. During this time I was gifted with Hot Wheels cars and tracks which came with super smooth cars and steep sloping tracks. Soon I had a good collection of it. Recently I came to know about the Guinness World Record of 8 loops and decided that I can better the record. The Guinness World Records titleholder would be the best thing I would have ever got. It would also mean that records are an inspiration to do better and create greater records. It would be a proud moment for both me and my family."

GACW Inc has signed a Supply, Service and Exclusive Agent Agreement with Brownfield Engineering and Maintenance Pty Ltd, a leading Australian engineering and maintenance company to market and distribute GACW’s Air Suspension Wheel (ASW) technology to the mining Off the Road (OTR) sector.
Hojun Lee’s design won an award at the international design competition, K-Design. Lee currently attends the Seoul National University of Science and Technology in South Korea.
The added components don’t make the wheels all that much heavier, too, as each Loopwheel only weighs 300 grams more than a similar spoked equivalent. Because they use hubs and rims similar to standard wheels, they can be installed on any bicycle designed to take 20-inch wheels. Other sizes may come soon, although that will likely depend on how well the current size sells.

Hi we are new to a air ride equipped motorhome and are wandering if it is ok to lift the wheels off the ground with the Jack's when leveling on those unlevel sites, the chassis is a Freightliner XC and it seems like the air bags are really stretched if the wheells and everything are pulling down on them in this situation ... We just do not want any damage to the system. Your input would be appreciated thanks The weight of the axle pulls down on the air bags but the weight of the front axle assembly is supported by the length of the shocks. When the shocks become fully extended, air bags, leaf or coil springs, that's when the front axle assembly quits moving down. I'm with everyone that doesn't like the looks of wheels in the air, but it doesn't hurt anything and I have done it. Think about this: The only way your motorcoach can roll away is if it's on the wheels. If it's up on the jacks, it can't roll. A good backhoe operator will hike the rear tires (where the brakes are) up in the air to get it up on the hydraulics where it is solid and stable, before operating. Sometimes they raise the front tires up with the bucket. Ever seen a mobile construction crane? First thing they do is raise all the tires up off the ground to get the unit level and stable before operating. I'm not saying to lift your coach that way, but it's not the big deal that some people try to make it sound like. On my Freightliner with the stiff rear end and V-Ride, if I lift one side a couple inches, the duals will come off the ground. Not a big deal because the jack won't roll.
I put my year, make, and model into the website, and I purchased what came up, why doesn't it fit? While our website is a good tool for an estimate for what fits your vehicle each owner modifies their vehicle differently. Meaning you could have different modifications done to your vehicle that causes the wheels/tires not to fit while they could work on another person's vehicle who performed the necessary modifications to make the setup work. This is why we suggest using the gallery for a reference. You have to pay a restocking fee because we now need to pay individuals to return, clean up, and restock the item to our shelves to be resold. These are large items and take a lot of work to be put back into our inventory. Yes, while we can't guarantee that a product will never fail, as long as spacers are installed and measured for correctly they are generally safe. If your purchase does not fit, you can certainly return the product however, a return and restocking fee of 20% will apply. The product can also not be used/driven on in any way. We highly recommend a test fit once you get your new wheels, please bolt them up (carefully) and spin them on the vehicle before driving on them to ensure they fit correctly. Our customers are determined to push their vehicles to the limit while showing off their own unique style. Each customized vehicle has its own personality and we want to help our customers achieve any look they’re after to complete their dream vehicle. However, there are certain risks that come with stretched tires. Stretched tires give a distinct, minimal sidewall look that can help showcase your wheels and dial in perfect fitment. In minor stretch applications, there are minimal to no inherent risks. But, in extreme tire stretch applications, this can result in debeading or tearing of the tires sidewall. The more the tire is stretched, the more likely you may run into one of these issues. Stretching a tire onto a wider wheel may void the manufacturer's warranty depending on the brand and size of the tire. If your application is considered stretched, there will be a note listed during the checkout process before going to the cart for purchase. Loopwheels give you a smoother ride. They are more comfortable than standard wheels: the carbon springs absorb tiring vibration, as well as bumps and shocks. They’re designed for everyday use and are strong and durable. They don’t run as true as a spoked wheel, and you’ll notice more sideways movement, especially in the Loopwheels Classic, but they’re a lot more comfortable.

The spokes on a standard spoked wheel hold it in tension. If the spokes lose tension, they start to break and the rim will buckle. A Loopwheel is not held in tension by its springs therefore the rim is strong, double-walled, and less likely to suffer from buckling or fracture at the rim.
The new company has financial backing from the RAD BioMed Accelerator group and is in collaboration with the Ziv-Av Engineering group. They are initially designing these wheels for wheelchairs, city bicycles and aircraft landing gear but the company says the technology would be used for other wheeled vehicles.

They are BFG KO2's and TRD Pro wheels. Is this reasonable? I'm completely new the world of mods and upgrades and don't want to get ripped off. My background in wheel performance is its circular motion( which involves the circular of the wheel, and that the hub remains in the center of the wheel) if u are rolling with an oblong wheel, then u may actually exert more effort in lifting your self with the bike rather than rolling.
