Thats another issue im going to have is picking a tire size, do you think 1.5 is enough to be flush? A loopwheel doesn’t have the same rigidity and stiffness that’s necessary in a spoked wheel.
The Loopwheels team were looking for a digital agency to help build awareness of the enormous health and comfort benefits that their products offer to wheelchair users across the globe. They were also looking for a partner to help them leverage digital channels to grow sales on the Loopwheels ecommerce store.
The design most likely requires a drum or disc brake since the rim’s position would likely change too much for rim brakes. We’re thinking this could be a fun design for commuter and city bikes where aerodynamics and weight are slightly trumped by comfort, particularly where the streets are a bit rough.
