Loopwheels ($300+) give you that comfortable ride you’ve been looking for. If you have a folding commuter bike like a Dahon Mu Uno, which doesn’t come with its own suspension system, then you neeed to take a look at Loopwheels. These suspension wheels allow you take bumps, curbs, and potholes in comfort with reduced vibration. The Loopwheel doesn’t fit every bike. It’s a 20″ wheel with specific clearance requirements, so check out their Kickstarter page to see if your bike is an option.
Seems like a lot of the aftermarket wheels are on lowered Supras, anybody here running aftermarket wheels with stock suspension? Unfortunately with my driveway and roads, lowering may not be an option due to the possibility of scraping. I feel others may be in the same boat so this may be a helpful thread. Please share photos and specs of your aftermarket wheels/tires with stock suspension! I had to run a 12mm spacer in front to clear the caliper (which i thought it was going to clear, but sadly was wong) which made my rear fitment a bit weak compared to the front. so i had to compensate with a little 5mm spacer on the rear (still not sure whether to run a 5mm or 10mm spacer on the rear, i feel like 10mm would be really pushing it and will rub badly.) Or were you going for a poke look? Or were you going for a poke look? i was going for a more "flush" look and its the only offset they offered. I thought i was going to clear upfront, and worried more with the rear. but it turned out the other way around.. and since the front poked out, i was trying to compensate on the rears. but i dont mind "a little" poke just not too much. oh well at least it looks decent

4.0 out of 5 stars Save time and trouble, get the whole assembly at once I tried the tire on its own, couldn’t get the old one off so getting the new one on was not even an option. Then I got the solid tire mounted to a wheel. Couldn’t get the brake disc off the old wheel, bolts stripped with little pressure. Then I found this little gem and I’m back on the road. Thank goodness for Amazon easy returns at Kohl’s. 4.0 out of 5 stars Save time and trouble, get the whole assembly at once By Locktographer on September 26, 2020 I tried the tire on its own, couldn’t get the old one off so getting the new one on was not even an option. Thank goodness for Amazon easy returns at Kohl’s. Top reviews from other countries It fits my m365 well, I thought it did not fit at first, but later realize I just have to adjust the angle a bit. I did a quick test ride, not as bumpy as I thought, I barely notice any difference, good job 1.0 out of 5 stars Misleading Reviewed in Canada on April 2, 2021 Best Sellers Prime Customer Service New Releases Today's Deals Pharmacy Books Registry Fashion Kindle Books Toys & Games Gift Cards Amazon Home Sell Automotive Computers Coupons Shopper Toolkit Home Improvement Video Games Smart Home Find a Gift Beauty & Personal Care Health & Household Amazon Basics Pet Supplies TV & Video Baby Handmade Disability Customer Support Amazon Home Shop by Room Discover Shop by Style Home Décor Furniture Kitchen & Dining Bed & Bath Garden & Outdoor Home Improvement Sports & Outdoors › Outdoor Recreation › Skates, Skateboards & Scooters › Scooters & Equipment › Scooters › Kick Scooters $$205.11205.11 () Includes selected options. Looks to me like it is a rigid rim and all the suspension takes place within the three loops of carbon inside. No worries about wheels changing shape or tires blowing off. The axle just moves off center during compression. ChrisC on April 14th, 2013 - 10:39pm ChrisC on April 14th, 2013 - 10:40pm jimmythefish on April 14th, 2013 - 11:00pm

A menacing grille, functional air intake scoop and flow-through R-A-M badge ensure unobstructed air flow to the engine. Plus, integrated amber identification lamps create a signature look.
on flat ground due to the hub always being nearer the ground than the top of the wheel, all three “loops” have to flex and return for each revolution of the wheel, meaning it would be like going up a gentle hill all the time (work wise)? (unlike conventional suspension that will flex due to riders weight and stop regardless of revolutions.
3: Down hill- I think this would be the least of your problems. not to mention if you're fine with the previous scenarios. " a box can slide with free fall"

@ Bob Stuart: The built-in air cylinders avoid the bouncing. The very first design in 2010 was actually with springs and, indeed too bouncy. The cylinders have a non linear suspension (exponential) that have a great dampening effect.
"I have used my Loopwheels since they were first launched, I’ve tried them all, but NOTHING compares with these Loopwheels, after a month or so I had no more back pain, 75% less marks..."
