You can adjust the suspension settings to make them ridged, and you can use vertically oriented suspensions to prevent side wobble as if it was on rails. Wheels lack any form of propulsion on their own. They also lack any form of innate rotation ability. They're just cylindrical objects, exactly as they are in the real world (try welding a wheel directly to something sometime and see how well it spins). You need to provide an axle to them, and propulsion should you require it as well.

I've been quoted $4k for a Bilstein 5100's all around with OME springs both front and rear and SPC Upper control arms. The $4k is for ALL parts + installation, and includes the wheels and tires. They are BFG KO2's and TRD Pro wheels. Is this reasonable? I'm completely new the world of mods and upgrades and don't want to get ripped off. As a full time wheelchair user, I cast a very skeptical eye at said "annoyingly infomercial-style video". About the only places I have trouble are in soft gravel, sandy beaches, and deep snow. Certainly not gentle curbs and flat lawns.
Just purchased a 2nd Traxion for my wife; after she borrowed mine she had to have one. This one arrived in perfect condition via UPS. Had to fine tune the brakes and shifters but that is easy. The people here having pedal/crank problems are causing the problem themselves by installing them dry and severly over tightening them. Put a little grease on the threads and take them down to just beyond finger tight. They are threaded opposite of the crank rotation and will not back out, and if you ever need to replace them they'll come out easily without seizing or galling. Great bike for the money!

Loopwheel springs are made from a carbon composite material, carefully developed and tested to give optimum compression and lateral stability as well as strength and durability. Specially-designed connectors attach the springs to the hub and rim. The three loops in each wheel work together as a self-correcting system. This spring system between the hub and the rim of the wheel provides suspension that constantly adjusts to uneven terrain – cushioning the rider from bumps and potholes in the road. In effect, the hub floats within the rim, adjusting constantly as shocks from an uneven road hit the rim of the wheel. The spring configuration allows the torque to be transferred smoothly between the hub and the rim.

An important consideration when dealing with e-tron is the aforementioned weight. Though smaller than the SQ7 TDI sold in Europe with its heavy V8 TDI engine, the e-tron is still some 400 lbs. heavier. If you go with a wheel that’s not weight rated for your car, you could find yourself easily bending your wheels or even worse. We did our best to find out what we could about the weight rating of the SQ7 wheel and came away confident enough to give it a try. Even still, it is heavier than stock and boasts a wider contact patch, which meant our electric range would suffer.
Also, that the e-tron runs at its lowest from the factory while in efficiency mode means there are likely efficiency gains going on.

I suspect that many of us have had problems when it comes to carrying “stuff” on our bikes and trikes. You may want to keep it simple – just a pair of bags that are connected by straps that lay across your seat. Or, you say that you already have some panniers, but either you can’t find a rear rack that will work on your bike or trike, or the ones you find are either too expensive, or maybe they won’t work with suspension. As you can see, the fitment looks very good on the car. The wheels and tires fill out the wheel wells satisfyingly, though don’t rub in any way. Since the tires are summer fitment, we are running them only in warmer weather. Before the seasons turned, we were able to log some miles and found that the greater weight and larger contact patch with summer compound tires did take a toll on range. We’ve seen that come in at about 185-190 miles for a full charge in fall temperatures.
