I sent this bike back, the customer service from both amazon and schwinn, were impeccable, so much so, that I'm going to order another one, and hope it's not defective. My fingers are crossed, and I'll post again when the next one comes. maybe a bit expensive but good simple bike. I ordered 2 and for one of them the front wheel was really untrue, I had to replace it (Amazon was amazing with this).
I'm looking to buy Enkei RPF1's. I am undecided if I should go with the 17 or 18 inch size for stock suspension. Swing axles may be at the front or rear. The system is like a beam axle cut in half and attached to pivots on the frame.
I don’t think it would affect the brake track. The wheel would flex on the bottom but would return to original shape and diameter when it rolled far enough to not be in contact with the ground. Looks great...thanks! Those are very clear, telling pics...no fear about getting 20" wheels now. I appreciate it. Not to mention the tires are significantly cheaper than 19's. What I was referring to before was a generalization with 19" wheels as opposed to your concern of having 20". When it comes to how a car looks with aftermarket wheels, it really depends on a combination of the offset, size and width. A combination of the three as compared with stock specs will either give you more positive or negative camber and therefore can change the wheel gap. Before you make your purchase, I recommend learning how the dimensions of your setup will change based on the wheels that you want. This will give you a better understanding of their affect on your wheel gap. The pics i've seen so far have been fine so I doubt there will be a huge change but nonetheless, your best bet would be finding a picture of a stock suspension car with the same sized wheels and offsets that you want.

You’ll notice your loopwheel has more movement, vertically and laterally. As soon as the springs are loaded, they compress and further change their concentricity. This is what gives your wheelchair comfort and shock absorption. A Loopwheel is designed to absorb shocks, reduce jolting and cushion your body against vibration. You’ll notice more sideways movement than with a spoked wheel, but you’re trading rigidity for greater comfort.

I bought the car like this from the dealer. Pretty certain it is stock suspension. The Fronts are 20 x 8.5 and the backs 20 x 10. The front tires are Nankang Untra Sport NS-II 245/35ZR20 and the backs are Nankang Untra Sport NS-II 275/30ZR20. just switched to my winter setup, so i want to move my 20" Here are a couple of pics of my 2009 G37S with stock suspension and 20" wheels. I would love to lower the front some but I am fine with the back and I don't want to get into all the other issues that come up with lowering a car (rubbing, alignment issues, etc etc).
Outside the pivots the bar bends back and one end is attached to each wheel, usually through one or two flexible rubber bushes.
Loopwheels come in front- and rear-specific versions, one of the key differences being that the springs in the front wheel are twice as compliant as those in the back. This is (presumably) to help keep the wheel that does the steering from being knocked and bounced around, plus it compensates for the fact that more of the rider’s weight tends to be centered over the rear wheel.

- Suspension systems, by their very nature, allow movement. This is bad on something that needs to be solid. When the gantry is holding something, I don't want the arms to flex, bend, pivot, or do any of the things a suspension would do.
Looks to me like it is a rigid rim and all the suspension takes place within the three loops of carbon inside. No worries about wheels changing shape or tires blowing off. Things turn even further in the favor of the ASW system if you factor in punctures, blowouts, tire fires and how long a truck has to be out of service each year while those monster tires get changed. 2.1: Humps - if u roll over a hump, den the shock can make the hub offset.but if it maintain with the situation i wrote on top. then you'll have the case o rolling in a "something like a smaller wheel since the radius reduced" but will be fine, then after the humps, the wheels would recover the shape. here you'll still good

Like a regular pneumatic tire, the ASW is air-suspended, but in this case, it's not by an inflated tube. It's a full hub and wheel replacement that separates the outer tread and rim from the hub using a set of eccentrically mounted, pneumatic air cylinders.

4: Up hill- this is where i think you may encounter difficulty. since its a climb. assume that you follow case 1, then you should be at least fine here. you have to focus on the ground distance to hub must always be greater than radius of wheel parallel to inclination of climb. (because imagine case 1, if your hub is no longer at the center, you will be lifting your self. in an inclined position. more difficult than lifting in a plane.
I might eventually drop it. You have remember though, the roadsters sit atleast a half inch lower than the coupes to begin with (stock).
