Given no e-trons yet wear a 22-inch wheel from the factory, we didn’t have a recommended factory fitment tire. However, we noticed Vossen’s own upgraded e-tron (see: Academic e-tron, p.36 Q3_2019) used 285/35R22. As it happened, this was the exact fitment that was already on these former Q7 fitted wheels. Given the 285/35R22 Toyo Proxes S/T tires were properly weight rated and that Vossen had experienced no problems, we decided to give them a try.
So 12mm spacers are just enough to clear the calipers? Looks like it only pokes a few mm... The car does look good...the wheels are killer( even though they're a knock off...lol) First Name Kyle Joined Jun 22, 2020 Messages 243 Reaction score 123 Location CA Car(s) 2020 A90 GR Supra, 1996 NA Miata, 2014 Camry SE So 12mm spacers are just enough to clear the calipers? Looks like it only pokes a few mm... The car does look good...the wheels are killer( even though they're a knock off...lol) yea.. but i heard mostly every one goes for a 19x9.5 +22 in front for a flush fitment and clears the calipers, but i guess it also depends on the make/design of the wheel. thanks i appreciate it. at least i dont try to set it off as "real BBS" by slapping a sticker on it, more disrespect. my friend was selling me actual BBS CH R but they were 5x120 so i couldnt run them

The Loopwheels’ spring system between the hub and the rim cushions the rider from potholes and bumps in the road. It also reduces road noise by absorbing it, thereby reducing vibration through the frame—and into the rider’s arms and body. Because the suspension is inside the wheel, you don’t need fat tires to make the ride nicer. Instead, you can use high-pressure or puncture-resistant tires.
With 12% extra hi-tech carbon than our classic Loopwheels, Loopwheels Carbon offer a sportier ride – so you can go steadier and stronger than before. The same comfort and protection against damaging vibration as our Loopwheels Classic, with additional lateral stability for an added feeling of security. Designed for a sportier suspension than our Loopwheels Classic, at low speeds and primarily for manual use. Gorgeous carbon finish and reflective logos to help you be seen in the dark

Loopwheels reduce vibration by up to 70% compared to a spoked wheel so the amount of vibration transferred into the person in the chair is significantly reduced.
When you have plenty of bicycle to work with, such as is the case with a mountain bike, it’s not such a big deal to design it with front and rear suspension. When the bicycle in question is a diminutive folding city bike, however, it gets a bit trickier. That’s why UK industrial designer Sam Pearce has created Loopwheels. Instead of relying on a suspension fork and rear shock, it lets the bike’s 20-inch wheels absorb the bumps.
Among the very few prominent recumbent groups around the world precious few can boast of the long history of racing and designing bents as can the British Human Power Club. We’ll chat with club officers Alan Goodman, Barney Harle and Chris Hamilton about their full racing seasons (including the World HPV Championships), member’s unusual HPV builds and the early group history with founding member Dave Larrington. Also Dave Ashenbrener returns with an update on his “Lost Recumbent” AR-3 tilting trike which he has now produced and is available to purchase. Honza, Doug and Nina are back with their segments as well. Midwest Trike Demo Sale – February 27! Posted on February 26, 2021 by Larry Varney
