4.0 out of 5 stars Save time and trouble, get the whole assembly at once I tried the tire on its own, couldn’t get the old one off so getting the new one on was not even an option. Then I got the solid tire mounted to a wheel. Couldn’t get the brake disc off the old wheel, bolts stripped with little pressure. Then I found this little gem and I’m back on the road. Gary: I agree in principal - and I believe, as usual that forum members are all trying to say the same thing. Which is that 1) when we know our equipment and 2) the circumstance is favorable then there should be no problems. However, OP, an admitted newbie, did not tell us the year and model of his Thor (I may have missed it), nor the type of jack nor the degree of slope he could be considering - so, to err on the side of safety when advising someone that is NOT familiar with his equipment I think our answer should be a conservative and collective NO - don't go off the ground for the drive axle (brakes). As always, disagree or agree the forum group is constantly trying to help others to stay safe and enjoy this wonderful way of life (for some) and pastime (for others). The shocks will limit how much the front air bags can extend, whether or not it damages the front shocks is a different topic. As a general rule MH's with solid front axles state in the owners manual NOT to lift front wheels off the ground. I've never read of IFS MH's having such a statement. 2000 Winnebago Ultimate Freedom USQ40JD, ISC 8.3 Cummins 350, Spartan MM Chassis. USA IN 1SG 11B5MX,Infantry retired;Good Sam Life member,FMCA." Am I missing something here? That seems like a pretty big failing, as there are plenty of reasons to need wheels in a fixed position.

From an aesthetics point of view they are gorgeous to look at, but from riding them it is obvious that Sam and Gemma have created something special. Riding 20″ slicks is not normally the most fun way to enjoy the farm tracks of the UK, but with the Loopwheels it suddenly changed, the rough buzz disappeared and you find yourself enjoying the ride rather than worrying about your wheels and the bike bouncing everywhere!
I love it when my headtube angle steepens and my wheelbase shortens when I hit an obstacle. (deleted) TheKaiser on May 20th, 2016 - 12:16pm

I suspect that many of us have had problems when it comes to carrying “stuff” on our bikes and trikes. You may want to keep it simple – just a pair of bags that are connected by straps that lay across your seat. Or, you say that you already have some panniers, but either you can’t find a rear rack that will work on your bike or trike, or the ones you find are either too expensive, or maybe they won’t work with suspension. You may be on the edge of throwing up your hands in despair, and just stuffing things into your pockets. Don’t give up hope – I’ve got some possible solutions for you! $800 on Amazon for C load 285's - so I was a little off. I was also assuming prices of shopping around, or else the SPC's would've been stated a bit higher. 03-15-2020, 11:32 PM #6 I think that is reasonable presuming the shop is decent. Also, don't forgot to add another 100 bucks for alignment when all said and done. Be certain the alignment tech is well versed on SPC UCAs. Ask the shop for a referral if you don't already have someone in mind. shrub1 View Public Profile Find More Posts by shrub1 03-17-2020, 12:25 AM #7 03-17-2020, 01:45 AM #8 2018 Super White SR5 Premium aka Ben Affleck: Bilstein 5100s (w/ 2" Toytech Superflex), 285/65/18 duratracs (E), 18x9 Volk TE37 // 2003 Black Limited (2UZFE) aka Blacky Chan: stock the_fornicator View Public Profile Find More Posts by the_fornicator 03-17-2020, 09:24 AM #9 That's $2890 without install. I spent 340.00 on Bilsteins, 800.00 mounted and balanced 285 KO's, 400.00 spc's, and 50.00 for 1.5 Daystars in the rear, then 17x9 Mamba's for 720.00 and alignment 90.00.......so just under $2600. I would save on the TRD wheels buying used. 83Mule View Public Profile Find More Posts by 83Mule 03-19-2020, 01:09 PM #12 $4K is reasonable depending on the quality of shocks/springs. Since you're not doing it yourself and the kit includes UCAs, this is not crazy expensive. Don't know a bunch about Bilsteins but you could probably find a better deal on them or use the money for something a little better quality. That's perfect size, go with stock 235/40/18 or 245/40/18 will work too if you want more tire width. You can swap over the stock tires if they're the same size. I'm new here so want to ask all you all help me out really quick. I'm just wondering will this rim be okay to set up with my Hatchback Sport and what size of tire should I get with stock suspension? There are two basic types of vehicle suspensions: independent and solid axel. The main difference between these two is that both right and left wheels attached to the same beam i.e. solid axle, while independent suspensions make provision for one wheel to go up or down without affecting the other wheel.

That was a fantastic read. Thanks for sharing, I have already made a list of things I want to do with my car, granted not an interior list nor a 100% complete list, but as far as budget and small things (considering its just gonna be a mild modded DD) as the thread you linked calls it but I still got something out of it. Thanks again. Eventually i'm going to do a B-Swap but suspension work is a no brainer to get out of the way, atleast in my opinion OK..........so why are you asking us what should you do first if its a no brainer to you? Civics of your vintage need to be lowered about 2.5-3" with stock sized tires before you remove all wheel gap. This is too low for stock length shocks. A good riding spring lowers the car about 1-2" maximum. Some suggestions would be eibach pro kits, h&r sports, or Tein S techs with koni STRT shocks. They'll work fine with 15x7 +40 or so. I'd use 205/50/15's. But you can also use the stock 195/55/15. If you buy the wheels/tires first, the car will look funny until you lower it.

The first wheels are designed around the 20-inch wheels commonly used on fold-up bicycle, and Mr Pearce plans to sell bikes with the wheels fitted for £1200 in September.

Wheelchair Rims

With boulders in your sights, TRX shifts to an extra low gear ratio and uses a 50/50 torque split. Plus, a Selec-Speed® Control holds a set velocity for a controlled descent.

Half Inch Bearings

The wheelchair application seems to run straight into the eternal problem with sprung wheels. Without dampers, they bounce badly, as sometimes seen in tractors fitted with buckets on a bad road. With dampers, they have very high rolling resistance. I tire needs enough flex to meet the ground, but any further suspension should be on the axle. Lardo January 30, 2018 06:00 PM
