Urban Wheels

Talking with Sam and Gemma it is clear that Loopwheels wont be stopping with just this one product, hints are dropped and you can see ideas formulating in their heads as they talk with you.

Living Spinal

Each wheel reportedly weighs about 300 grams (10.5 oz) more than a comparable spoked wheel.
looks like the idea could be refined a bit in the direction of this Military version with an airless tire…flat proof and comfortable commuter tire would be sick. Daver on April 15th, 2013 - 5:45am Luiggi on April 15th, 2013 - 7:21am .

I love it when my headtube angle steepens and my wheelbase shortens when I hit an obstacle. (deleted) TheKaiser on May 20th, 2016 - 12:16pm

  • Is Vibration Good For Lower Back Pain

Great comments and I would like to explain the questions raised, because it is a huge innovation. Wheelchair: Nothing is rigged about it. Two of the cheapest identical Invacare wheelchairs were bought and one was modified with the Air Suspension Wheel technology. Zoltan (the inventor) has never been in a wheelchair before and therefore it may seem a bit clumsy, but definitely nothing was done intentionally. Here is the video of how it works in gravel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A429IzLKbWM&t=2s.

A trailing arm is attached to the wheel hub at one end, and extends forward to a pivot on the frame.
But the negatives are pretty significant, especially in and around Boston, where our roads are rapidly deteriorating, and potholes are a regular occurrence.

Tires are the most important part of your build. From performance tires to winter tires, we have something to suit whatever your build needs.

Why allow weather to limit your performance? TRX employs an initial 45/55 torque split and manages engine horsepower for optimal launch performance on snow and ice.
2.1: Humps - if u roll over a hump, den the shock can make the hub offset.but if it maintain with the situation i wrote on top. then you'll have the case o rolling in a "something like a smaller wheel since the radius reduced" but will be fine, then after the humps, the wheels would recover the shape. here you'll still good

  • Back Vibrations

Over the winter of 2014-15, we’ve been developing and trialling our first 20 inch loopwheels designed especially for recumbent trikes. The springs are designed to cope with fast cornering and the particular forces of side-axles. We’re really happy with the results. Loopwheels-builder Graeme cycles the 12 miles to work on his trike most days – fitted with loopwheels, of course. He’s been pushing us to get these ready to share! We showed these new trike wheels at the Spezi show in Germersheim, Germany on 25 and 26 April 2015, along with another new design for trikes, with our own hubs and a disc brake fitting.

I'm shopping around for prices on a suspension upgrade, new tires, and new wheels for my rig. I've been quoted $4k for a Bilstein 5100's all around with OME springs both front and rear and SPC Upper control arms. The $4k is for ALL parts + installation, and includes the wheels and tires. They are BFG KO2's and TRD Pro wheels. Is this reasonable? I'm completely new the world of mods and upgrades and don't want to get ripped off. For those who may suggest I try the work myself, I live in a small studio apartment with no garage or space for tools :/ Reply With Quote 623spartan View Public Profile Find More Posts by 623spartan 03-15-2020, 10:00 PM #2 So about $1,250 in labor - not horrible but I would shop around a little. Labor on this should be about 6-8 hours? Maybe can find someone local willing to work with you, teach you a few things for some pizza and brews? Make a buddy along the way! Edit - if you're lifting 2"/2.5" or less could probably drop the SPCs and save a few bucks Last edited by Sundy; 03-15-2020 at 10:49 PM. We hope you’re delighted with your purchase, but if you’re not completely satisfied there are lots of ways we can help.

Why Is My Back Vibrating

A pair of shock-absorbing wheels for wheelchairs with integral suspension, designed to help you push over uneven streets, rough tracks, grass and gravel paths, with less effort. The carbon leaf springs give you extra power to get up or down kerbs/curbs. They’re wonderfully comfortable over cobblestones, and potholes needn’t be a problem any more!

So how does it work? Well, a suspension fork (spoke suspension) only works on one plane. The Loopwheels on the other hand, provide what Loopwheels call, “tangential suspension.” Basically, they work in every direction, according to Loopwheels.com. So, they respond “to a force hit head-on in the same way as they do to a force from above or below.” This gives riders a smooth ride, instead of the lumpy, vibrating ride they are used to.
