The Recumbent Cycle-Con has been rescheduled for October 7, 8-9, 2002, at The Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Dayton, Ohio!. As always, you’ll get the chance to see the newest recumbent bikes, trikes, and tandems, as well as ride all the new models on our Outdoor Demo Riding Arena. The Recumbent Cycle-Con is part of Cycle-Con Weekend, which include the Adaptive Cycling Expo, Bicycle Tour & Travel Expo, and the Electric Cycle-Con.
We have made the difficult decision to postpone the 2021 Recumbent Cycle-Con. With the current surge in Covid cases, and so many unknowns about what may happen in the next two months, postponing seems like the most responsible thing to do at this point in time.
So, how did it turn out? Did I like the trike? What are the good points and bad? Before we get into that, I’m sure that there are many who want to see the specifications, and not have to read through to the end for that. You’ll notice your loopwheel has more movement, vertically and laterally. As soon as the springs are loaded, they compress and further change their concentricity. This is what gives your wheelchair comfort and shock absorption. A Loopwheel is designed to absorb shocks, reduce jolting and cushion your body against vibration. You’ll notice more sideways movement than with a spoked wheel, but you’re trading rigidity for greater comfort.

- Suspension systems, by their very nature, allow movement. This is bad on something that needs to be solid. When the gantry is holding something, I don't want the arms to flex, bend, pivot, or do any of the things a suspension would do.
