Replacement Wheels For Wheelchair

The pics i've seen so far have been fine so I doubt there will be a huge change but nonetheless, your best bet would be finding a picture of a stock suspension car with the same sized wheels and offsets that you want.

Loopwheels have been specially designed to help wheelchair users get around more easily and with more comfort. The springs give you extra power to get up kerbs, and reduce jolting as you come down. This gives a much smoother ride than standard wheels, wherever you go. Select Why choose This? Does it fit? Don’t blink. With eight extra inches of overall width, massive 35-inch tires and a menacing stance, TRX asserts itself as the most muscular truck to ever leave our factory.

As a full time wheelchair user, I cast a very skeptical eye at said "annoyingly infomercial-style video". About the only places I have trouble are in soft gravel, sandy beaches, and deep snow. Certainly not gentle curbs and flat lawns.

The spokes on a standard spoked wheel hold it in tension. If the spokes lose tension, they start to break and the rim will buckle. A Loopwheel is not held in tension by its springs.
About 1% of the population in the developed world uses a wheelchair. We have hardly scratched the surface of that market yet. It’s not often I get a chance to review articles of clothing, but when someone sent me an email, talking about how good a pair of shorts were, to the point that both he and his wife have bought more than two pairs for each, I decided to take a look. I’m talking about the “Uprising” from a company called elevenpine. Read More » The Ultimate ICE Sprint X Tour Posted on August 31, 2020 by Larry Varney

Wheelchair Rims

If you don't mind...what are the full specs of your wheels/tires? I'm just wondering because I have the X model and I know the widths and everything will be slightly different and no staggering for me. I think your setup looks great considering no drop, but I don't know how it would compare to an X model with no staggering or spacers etc.

On smooth terrain The Acrobat’sTM innovative Adaptive RigidityTM technology keeps the wheel’s 3 shocks perfectly rigid like spokes. When encountering a bumpy surface, they automatically transform into soft and responsive shocks. With less energy lost to frame vibration and reduced impact to the rider’s body, The AcrobatTM offers a superior riding experience.

SoftWheel also claims that this movement measurably decrease the energy lost from suspension movement. Their simulated track testing equated these gains to 16.4% extra energy that was not lost in a traditional suspension system. That of course means saving energy for the rider, and results in faster rolling. We’ve seen conceptually similar solutions like the carbon leaf Loop Wheels without damping, and even a smaller amount of suspension built into Gokiso’s hubs, but these Fluent wheels are certainly more tech-heavy.
