Seems like a lot of the aftermarket wheels are on lowered Supras, anybody here running aftermarket wheels with stock suspension? Unfortunately with my driveway and roads, lowering may not be an option due to the possibility of scraping. I feel others may be in the same boat so this may be a helpful thread. I had to run a 12mm spacer in front to clear the caliper (which i thought it was going to clear, but sadly was wong) which made my rear fitment a bit weak compared to the front. so i had to compensate with a little 5mm spacer on the rear (still not sure whether to run a 5mm or 10mm spacer on the rear, i feel like 10mm would be really pushing it and will rub badly.) I thought i was going to clear upfront, and worried more with the rear. but it turned out the other way around.. and since the front poked out, i was trying to compensate on the rears. but i dont mind "a little" poke just not too much. oh well at least it looks decent

Seconding how compression and rebound get adjusted… Also how will it handle/shed mud? looks like lots of nooks and cranies for mud and debris to hide and cling… I don’t even want to start thinking about what kind of aero properties these bad boys have, … High on my list to try, if I every had the opportunity (’cause dang I’m curious) but low on a buy until the applications for this type of wheel are nailed down. I started to remove the bike and it came out easily. I began removing the padding and cutting zip ties. Everything looked great although I was a bit concerned as there were no instructions included. Upon further unpacking, I could easily see there were minor steps to assembly which became self explanatory. I screwed in the right peddle and a small bearing fell into my hand. I called the number on the bike and explained the situation. In under 10 mins, a new peddle was on its way free of charge. I completed the assembly and took it for a test drive. The bike felt solid and drove like a champ! This is going to be a fun bike to use on the trails!! Bike arrived yesterday, so I put it together last night, and attempted to ride it. The gears don't change properly, and the chain constantly runs on the chain guard. Tries to adjust the gears, but to no avail. I got it close but either the chain runs while pedalling l, or the gears don't move to the next sprocket when the trigger is pulled... I'm going to try again tonight after work, bit I'd like to talk to the seller a out this issue.... a brand new bike out of the box should change gears.... I think.

Spotted at the Bespoked, UK’s handmade bicycle show, Loop Wheels should be getting things Kickstarter’d this week for their carbon fiber looped bike wheels. Details are pretty scant, but the obvious is the composite looped spokes that create three sets of springs between the hub and wheel.

I'm looking to buy Enkei RPF1's. I am undecided if I should go with the 17 or 18 inch size for stock suspension. I am driving a coupe and have always felt the RPF1 visually looks 2 sizes smaller than they actually are, but I don't want to install coilovers yet - maybe in a few years, but not now. Loving this well made Schwinn! Have many miles of very hard riding on it now and it is holding up well. Zero issues and still functioning perfectly. There is a slight amount of seepage at the front forks but that is normal. I have just about worn out the tires but that is after a lot of miles, most of which were ridden on rough rocky roads with zero flats. Overall this bike is a winner. Well worth the current price.

I bought a pair of loop wheels a couple a years ago, unless they have improved, i found they bend from side to side. After spending a lot of money on them, i returned to my spocked wheels. So far there is nothing to beat the spocked tried and most successful design. the best suspension i found is seat post suspension and front faulk suspension.
I actually really like this design. I’m sure it’s heavy, but it also seems to keep lateral flex in check, and the idea of the suspension movement being able to travel in any direction necessary is fantastic. Dsand on May 20th, 2016 - 8:49am

With all the comfort that the Loopwheels provided I was concerned about the responsiveness of the bike – but my worries were for naught, as soon as power is applied through the pedals the bike skips forward without any noticeable lag (I’m smiling just writing this)

suspension...then rims...n +40 isnt that low of an offset...anways low offset or not u can always get a camber kit n make them fit... n if u wana do it rite the 1st time...get coilovers...dont get springs...every1 who gets springs eventually get coilovers...thats bout $350 wasted rite there... i had my wheels for about a year before i had the suspension and i kept it off the car because i knew it would look terrible without the drop.
