An important consideration when dealing with e-tron is the aforementioned weight. Though smaller than the SQ7 TDI sold in Europe with its heavy V8 TDI engine, the e-tron is still some 400 lbs. heavier. If you go with a wheel that’s not weight rated for your car, you could find yourself easily bending your wheels or even worse. We did our best to find out what we could about the weight rating of the SQ7 wheel and came away confident enough to give it a try. Even still, it is heavier than stock and boasts a wider contact patch, which meant our electric range would suffer.

Civics of your vintage need to be lowered about 2.5-3" with stock sized tires before you remove all wheel gap. This is too low for stock length shocks. A good riding spring lowers the car about 1-2" maximum. Some suggestions would be eibach pro kits, h&r sports, or Tein S techs with koni STRT shocks. They'll work fine with 15x7 +40 or so. I'd use 205/50/15's. But you can also use the stock 195/55/15. If you buy the wheels/tires first, the car will look funny until you lower it.

The most loop-the-loops in a Hot Wheels track is 10 and was achieved by Rohan Dayal and Rahul Dayal (both India) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, on 7 April 2021. It took Rohan and Rahul three days to build the adjustable angle wooden platform and assemble the entire track of 10 loops over it. Two people were involved in the project. Rohan Dayal and his younger brother Rahul Dayal. "Testing was initially with few loops and as we increased the loops and the length of the track, the project became challenging. Since the track became long it needed to be supported on a firmer wooden platform. The longer the platform, the greater was the weight and bending in the center. This needed strengthening of the platform. This was the initial challenge." While testing the brothers found that the journey of the car through the loops depended greatly on the angle of the platform. To facilitate variable angles they had to construct an adjustable wooden leg support. By adjusting the leg support during testing they arrived at the best angle which gave them the breakthrough that they could achieve the target. The project cost approximately INR 3500 ( approximately £35). The cost was less as the brothers already had collections of Hot Wheels cars and track and only had to purchase the remaining missing track pieces. The plywood used for the platform was upcycled from scrap. There were a numbe rof challenges faced by the pair. As the number of loops increase, the project became challenging in terms of scale. The length of the platform, it's weight, and height also presented difficulties in handling. The speed of the Hot Wheels car increases as it descends from greater heights causing the car to lose balance. Despite all these difficulties the pair think they could attempt to increase the loops by a further one or two in the future. "Since a young age of around 12 years, I would try to do small projects like making a wooden toy car or cricket bat. Later as I grew I would do some small household repair works. For all this, I would use my Dad’s tools. As a child, I liked playing with toy cars. I would make my wooden toy car and make it slide on sloping surfaces. During this time I was gifted with Hot Wheels cars and tracks which came with super smooth cars and steep sloping tracks. Soon I had a good collection of it. Recently I came to know about the Guinness World Record of 8 loops and decided that I can better the record. The Guinness World Records titleholder would be the best thing I would have ever got. Save yourself the trouble and buy the solid tire with the rim. Also, tire came mounted in the correct direction.

agreed..but if money is an issue, I'd grab the $100 set of springs first then get the wheels. from experience in my trans am, springs/shocks/struts/whatever made a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference. Ok, here they are! 18x9" +40mm offset. Wheels are gloss black with ball cut "machine" finish accents on the spokes. Front and rear fenders pulled to gain 5mm rear and 8mm up front approx. I'm utilizing the slotted upper strut mount for an additional -0.3 negative camber which also adds 3-4mm more tuck at the top of the tire. Good news however is NO POKE! ^^^Savings of 11 1/4 lbs per corner! Noticing improved acceleration...especially in 3rd gear for whatever reason. Not enough seat time in the car to give much more detail than that but I will say that when you run more "stretch" in your tire setup, your steering response time really quickens up as a result of the reduction in sidewall "deflection." U can go too far with that theory and encounter some negative handling traits so beware. I won't be lowering the car as I have a steep entry into my driveway. I also like the handling of the car in Sport mode with the Type R rear sway bar installed and would rather leave it alone as it is currently well balanced. Ok, on to the pics. Given no e-trons yet wear a 22-inch wheel from the factory, we didn’t have a recommended factory fitment tire. However, we noticed Vossen’s own upgraded e-tron (see: Academic e-tron, p.36 Q3_2019) used 285/35R22. As it happened, this was the exact fitment that was already on these former Q7 fitted wheels. Given the 285/35R22 Toyo Proxes S/T tires were properly weight rated and that Vossen had experienced no problems, we decided to give them a try.

Previously on bespoken we’ve featured articles on manual and motorised chairs which help the user negotiate uneven streets and rougher pathway, but a lot of them have been both expensive and a bit impractical for day-to-day use. A new Kickstarter, Loopwheels, addresses this problem with a simple and far more affordable design. Loopwheels contain integral suspension meaning the wheels absorb more shock than a standard wheel and allow the user to negotiate tougher terrains with greater ease and comfort. The Kickstarter also says that they can be fitted onto most standard wheelchairs. Following up from a successful campaign to raise funds for the Loopwheel as a bike wheel, this latest project has already raised over half of its £16,000 goal with 28 days left to go.

they sent me another one with out having to return the first one and the tire on the second one is also bent. now I am waiting for a refund while I have 2 broken bikes. I am a police officer and bought this bike to train and exercise for bike patrol. Used the bike for the first time yesterday and it broke a few hours into training with maybe 6 miles on it. Front fork seals were in poor condition and leaked fluid right from the start. Front brake cable came loose during some braking drills. Finally the back gear system snapped and locked up the back tire almost causing me to crash. I know the is not a $2,000 or $3,000 dollar bike, but for almost $500, it should be a much better built bike then it was. Very disappointing. When I picked up the package, I was impressed at the condition of the box. There were no smashed corners or gashes. Upon opening the box, I was happy to see such efficient packing, padding and securing of items so nothing rubbed together. The bike arrived with no scratch whatsoever on it!
