The constant rumble and vibration from bumpy roads is tiring and can cause you problems. Loopwheels reduce vibration on average 65% compared to a traditional spoked wheels.

The front tires are Nankang Untra Sport NS-II 245/35ZR20 and the backs are Nankang Untra Sport NS-II 275/30ZR20. just switched to my winter setup, so i want to move my 20" Here are a couple of pics of my 2009 G37S with stock suspension and 20" wheels. I would love to lower the front some but I am fine with the back and I don't want to get into all the other issues that come up with lowering a car (rubbing, alignment issues, etc etc).

It's unclear at this point whether you'd lose any forward motion energy due to torque flex, but that can be tuned out of the system if required in any case. It's also unclear how much a pair of wheelchair-sized ASWs would cost at this point. We assume they're not cheap compared to a regular rim and tire setup. While our website is a good tool for an estimate for what fits your vehicle each owner modifies their vehicle differently. Meaning you could have different modifications done to your vehicle that causes the wheels/tires not to fit while they could work on another person's vehicle who performed the necessary modifications to make the setup work. This is why we suggest using the gallery for a reference. You have to pay a restocking fee because we now need to pay individuals to return, clean up, and restock the item to our shelves to be resold. These are large items and take a lot of work to be put back into our inventory. Yes, while we can't guarantee that a product will never fail, as long as spacers are installed and measured for correctly they are generally safe. If your purchase does not fit, you can certainly return the product however, a return and restocking fee of 20% will apply. The product can also not be used/driven on in any way. We highly recommend a test fit once you get your new wheels, please bolt them up (carefully) and spin them on the vehicle before driving on them to ensure they fit correctly. The more the tire is stretched, the more likely you may run into one of these issues. on flat ground due to the hub always being nearer the ground than the top of the wheel, all three “loops” have to flex and return for each revolution of the wheel, meaning it would be like going up a gentle hill all the time (work wise)? (unlike conventional suspension that will flex due to riders weight and stop regardless of revolutions.
4: Up hill- this is where i think you may encounter difficulty. since its a climb. assume that you follow case 1, then you should be at least fine here. you have to focus on the ground distance to hub must always be greater than radius of wheel parallel to inclination of climb. (because imagine case 1, if your hub is no longer at the center, you will be lifting your self. in an inclined position. more difficult than lifting in a plane.

I might eventually drop it. You have remember though, the roadsters sit atleast a half inch lower than the coupes to begin with (stock).
The suspension effect also makes it much easier for a wheelchair user to negotiate steep curbs, both nosing down and backing up, as the suspension effect takes much of the steepness out of the exercise.

Thanks for sharing, I have already made a list of things I want to do with my car, granted not an interior list nor a 100% complete list, but as far as budget and small things (considering its just gonna be a mild modded DD) as the thread you linked calls it but I still got something out of it. Thanks again. Eventually i'm going to do a B-Swap but suspension work is a no brainer to get out of the way, atleast in my opinion OK..........so why are you asking us what should you do first if its a no brainer to you? Civics of your vintage need to be lowered about 2.5-3" with stock sized tires before you remove all wheel gap. This is too low for stock length shocks. A good riding spring lowers the car about 1-2" maximum. Some suggestions would be eibach pro kits, h&r sports, or Tein S techs with koni STRT shocks. They'll work fine with 15x7 +40 or so. I'd use 205/50/15's. But you can also use the stock 195/55/15. If you buy the wheels/tires first, the car will look funny until you lower it.

From a purely aesthetic standpoint, it gives the Taurus — a car once relegated to rental fleets around the country — a much bolder, more aggressive appearance, with wheel arches full of rubber and chromed alloy. On the performance end of the equation, larger wheels definitely provide better handling, thanks to their ability to put a larger contact patch in touch with the road.
