Like many Audi models before it, the e-tron is fitted with a height adjustable air suspension. For those seeking to lower the car, this amounts largely to a software change. In most cases of an air suspended Audi, the aftermarket usually provides “piggyback” modules that adjust the suspension downward. Given no e-trons yet wear a 22-inch wheel from the factory, we didn’t have a recommended factory fitment tire. However, we noticed Vossen’s own upgraded e-tron (see: Academic e-tron, p.36 Q3_2019) used 285/35R22. As it happened, this was the exact fitment that was already on these former Q7 fitted wheels. Given the 285/35R22 Toyo Proxes S/T tires were properly weight rated and that Vossen had experienced no problems, we decided to give them a try.

Might try the rotor idea. Would need to make the drive rotors on either side of each gantry arm on a group and set up some hotbar options for control, but it should work. Yeah, you're right in that I should have said 'sufficiently rigid' as if you set it too stiffly it will explode. Wheel suspensions are pretty stable. As mentioned above, cranking up the stiffness and forcing 1-2 wheels to do all the stabilizing... can lead to boom. If you spread out the load over more suspensions, there's less load on any given area, on both grids, which can lead to you being happier all around. (Repairs are a *CENSORED* on some of those moving devices)

According to Pearce, one of the advantages of Loopwheels is the fact that unlike a suspension fork, they can absorb shocks delivered not just from underneath or above but also from the front (as might happen when running into a curb head-on). He also admits that many other inventors have come up with designs for wheels with tangential suspension over the past hundred years or so, although he believes that today’s modern materials will allow his to work where others have proved impractical.

I put my year, make, and model into the website, and I purchased what came up, why doesn't it fit? While our website is a good tool for an estimate for what fits your vehicle each owner modifies their vehicle differently. Meaning you could have different modifications done to your vehicle that causes the wheels/tires not to fit while they could work on another person's vehicle who performed the necessary modifications to make the setup work. This is why we suggest using the gallery for a reference. You have to pay a restocking fee because we now need to pay individuals to return, clean up, and restock the item to our shelves to be resold. These are large items and take a lot of work to be put back into our inventory. Yes, while we can't guarantee that a product will never fail, as long as spacers are installed and measured for correctly they are generally safe. If your purchase does not fit, you can certainly return the product however, a return and restocking fee of 20% will apply. The product can also not be used/driven on in any way. We highly recommend a test fit once you get your new wheels, please bolt them up (carefully) and spin them on the vehicle before driving on them to ensure they fit correctly. The more the tire is stretched, the more likely you may run into one of these issues. Stretching a tire onto a wider wheel may void the manufacturer's warranty depending on the brand and size of the tire. suspension...then rims...n +40 isnt that low of an offset...anways low offset or not u can always get a camber kit n make them fit... n if u wana do it rite the 1st time...get coilovers...dont get springs...every1 who gets springs eventually get coilovers...thats bout $350 wasted rite there... i had my wheels for about a year before i had the suspension and i kept it off the car because i knew it would look terrible without the drop.

For me, base on this design, as long as you can maintain the hub to be: ground to hub distance would always be greater than the hub to the horizontal distance (radius) to the rim. then you should be fine.

Anyway, I originally ordered two solid honeycomb-types tires, assuming the claims of then being nearly impossible to mount were wildly overblown... of course, I was unable to mount the rear (I didn’t even attempt the front). This is a perfect replacement and the included rotor and rim appear identical to OEM.
