Just purchased a 2nd Traxion for my wife; after she borrowed mine she had to have one. This one arrived in perfect condition via UPS. Had to fine tune the brakes and shifters but that is easy. The people here having pedal/crank problems are causing the problem themselves by installing them dry and severly over tightening them. Put a little grease on the threads and take them down to just beyond finger tight. They are threaded opposite of the crank rotation and will not back out, and if you ever need to replace them they'll come out easily without seizing or galling. Great bike for the money!
The spokes on a standard spoked wheel hold it in tension. If the spokes lose tension, they start to break and the rim will buckle. A Loopwheel is not held in tension by its springs therefore the rim is strong, double-walled, and less likely to suffer from buckling or fracture at the rim.

With every rotation the springs will bend and absorb a amount of energy. Normally this is called “damping”. Its pretty useful in some cases. But it’s pretty unusual to damp a rotation of wheels, because this will slow down the straight moving. For Bicycles (and all other vehicles) you should mount your springs in the direction where the impact is coming from plus a additional damper to stop the bouncing of the spring. This is what gives you wheelchair comfort and shock absorption. A Loopwheel is designed to absorb shocks, reduce jolting and cushion your body against vibration. Just put the tire on my sons Xiaomi M365. Fit perfectly. I tried replacing the inner tube a few times and each time the tube got a hole in it. Save yourself the trouble and buy the solid tire with the rim. Also, tire came mounted in the correct direction.
- The suspension blocks are just over two blocks in length, making proper 1-1 alignment with the rails impossible. Their models also stick out in other places making clipping an issue.

Anyway, I originally ordered two solid honeycomb-types tires, assuming the claims of then being nearly impossible to mount were wildly overblown... of course, I was unable to mount the rear (I didn’t even attempt the front). This is a perfect replacement and the included rotor and rim appear identical to OEM.
We put up with a lot from our pneumatic tires, from punctures and blowouts, to slashings and the certainty of relatively frequent, inconvenient replacements and giant piles of waste rubber. The current technology seems well overdue for a revolutionary overhaul, if you'll pardon the pun, and yet despite dozens of fascinating attempts to reinvent the wheel, nothing seems to have found traction yet. Boy, I'm on a roll here.

We’re thinking this could be a fun design for commuter and city bikes where aerodynamics and weight are slightly trumped by comfort, particularly where the streets are a bit rough. You can adjust the suspension settings to make them ridged, and you can use vertically oriented suspensions to prevent side wobble as if it was on rails. Wheels lack any form of propulsion on their own. They also lack any form of innate rotation ability. They're just cylindrical objects, exactly as they are in the real world (try welding a wheel directly to something sometime and see how well it spins). You need to provide an axle to them, and propulsion should you require it as well.
