agreed..but if money is an issue, I'd grab the $100 set of springs first then get the wheels. from experience in my trans am, springs/shocks/struts/whatever made a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference. I put vette wheels on and I just got wider tires which was sweet but i noticed a BIGGER difference from springs/shocks Well, my budget only allows for one at a time, and i'm just worried if I get springs ill have to just take guesses on wheel/tire sizes. I'm very unfamiliar with this kinda stuff as it is my first go. From what I am gathering the springs i'm planning on getting lower 1.5 - 1.75 im guessing the 1.75 is after they kinda break in over time. Not sure. However, the issue is knowing what tires to go with. If I have to chose 1.5 or 1.75 which is a better option? Keep in mind i'm most likely getting 15X7wheels, seems common enough and im not big on bigger size wheels, hell, i'm rocking 13's at the moment, steelies.. but 13's either way Also, I am not the fan of the "slammed" scene. I am more so into the flush look. Deleted wheel gap but not so over the top that negative camber makes my wheels look broken So from this information hopefully I can get some guidance with a tire size for 15X7 or maybe a slightly different recommendation based on the ride height adjustment soon to come. Looks great...thanks! Those are very clear, telling pics...no fear about getting 20" wheels now. I appreciate it. Not to mention the tires are significantly cheaper than 19's. What I was referring to before was a generalization with 19" wheels as opposed to your concern of having 20". When it comes to how a car looks with aftermarket wheels, it really depends on a combination of the offset, size and width. A combination of the three as compared with stock specs will either give you more positive or negative camber and therefore can change the wheel gap. Before you make your purchase, I recommend learning how the dimensions of your setup will change based on the wheels that you want. This will give you a better understanding of their affect on your wheel gap. The pics i've seen so far have been fine so I doubt there will be a huge change but nonetheless, your best bet would be finding a picture of a stock suspension car with the same sized wheels and offsets that you want.
Over the winter of 2014-15, we’ve been developing and trialling our first 20 inch loopwheels designed especially for recumbent trikes. The springs are designed to cope with fast cornering and the particular forces of side-axles. We’re really happy with the results. OK, after pouring through much of the other thread, I felt I spent so much time looking at setups that weren't relevant to what I was looking to do...which is stay on stock suspension. So this thread is dedicated to Aftermarket wheels on stock suspension. *List wheel make and model with offset and width as well as tire make/model/size. *Try to take pics showing "poke." That means refrain from turning the front wheels for the pics. Keep 'em pointed straight and try to get some shots down the side of the car that will help others make a decision. *If you've rolled, pulled fenders and/or used the slotted strut mounts for more tire/fender clearance that is ok, just let us know when you post your setup.

Loopwheels are currently available in a 20-inch size for bikes and a larger size for wheelchairs. They are working on 26- and 29-inch wheels for bicycles. They are currently available as a retrofit for Dahon or Tern foldingbikes and have a 100mm front fork for the changeover. I have had the car since 2010 and it is totally stock suspension, 40K miles on the car and no, I don't need shocks.
It’s important to note, that the axle is slightly wider than the tail of the frame. I widened the opening by grinding down just enough metal at the tail work a rotary tool to gain clearance. After that, it took no time to install. As an aside, this presents a perfect opportunity to change your brake pads as well. I was extremely hesitant to buy one of these wheel assembly kits. Many had reviews of non-spinning wheels or other horror stories, but this one did not. I took the jump, and it has worked out perfectly. No more back flats to worry about, and no loss to top speed! The ride is a little bumpier, but i only noticed the first ride or two. Slight decrease to total range as well, but that’ll happen. It fit my M365 perfectly, just had to adjust the brakes to fit this setup. I can not recommend this enough as a quick solution to eliminate flat tires as an issue. I am beyond pleased with my purchase
Yeah, I think that’s definitely a neat idea. Depends on how well it works, though. And how much it weighs. And how much it costs.
