Once tires have been mounted, we are unable to take them back even if there is a fitment problem. Tires with mileage on them cannot be returned. For package purchases, you are responsible for test fitting before driving on any products. Once wheels/tires have been mounted on the vehicle we are not able to accept a return. If you have any concerns about fitment, simply share those concerns via email, before you place your order, and our experts will work with you to get a perfect fit! Due to the fact we move quickly, it is important to notify us immediately if you have concerns. All suspension/accessory items being returned that are not warranty related CANNOT have been installed or attempted to be installed. If we receive a return that shows signs of installation, we will not be able to accept the item and will have to return to sender with no credit being issued. You will see many of our customers go beyond the “conservative” fitment offered by manufacturers and “guaranteed” by our competitors. They are doing this by making modifications and trimming plastic and sometimes metal to make the wheel/tire combo fit.
It looks like the hubs have internal drum brakes. They both have little black levers on the outside. And you can clearly see a cable running down to the rear hub.

UPDATE: After several long rides on very rocky mountain roads and trails I just had to change my rating from 4 to 5 stars. This bike is that nice, and it didn't seem fair to down grade the rating due to slow poor FedEx service.
You’ll notice your loopwheel has more movement, vertically and laterally. As soon as the springs are loaded, they compress and further change their concentricity. This is what gives you wheelchair comfort and shock absorption. A Loopwheel is designed to absorb shocks, reduce jolting and cushion your body against vibration. You’ll notice more sideways movement than with a spoked wheel, but you’re trading rigidity for greater comfort.
